Starbucks and Religious Discrimination

From Wildhunt(http://www.wildhunt.org/2006/02/there-is-spiritual-power-in-union-new.html): Arbitrarily enforcing its dress code, a Starbucks in New York tried to force employee Suley Ayala to remove her pentagram necklace, a symbol of her Wiccan faith -- even though other employees were not asked to remove their religious symbols or other jewelry, and even though Starbucks had forced employees to wear Christmas hats and listen to Christmas music during the pre-Christmas season. What saved Suley Ayala? Labor unions. Without them, Starbucks would likely have gotten away with its religious discrimination.
